He was born in 1982 in Çanakkale. After completing his secondary and high school education at Yeşilköy Anatolian High School, he graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.

He began his career in 2007 immediately after graduation at Berg Propulsion in Singapore. Between 2008 and 2010, he worked in the company’s newly opened offices in Turkey and Sweden, and from 2010 to 2013 he served as Managing Director of the Singapore office.

In 2014, he became Managing Director responsible for Caterpillar Marine’s offices in Istanbul and Dubai. In 2016, he expanded his responsibilities as Regional Manager for the Middle East, Africa, and India, including medium-speed (MaK) and high-speed (CAT) engines. Between 2017 and 2018, he was based in Dubai as Global Technical Sales Manager, leading multicultural teams across countries from China to America.

In 2019, he served as CEO of Al Hail Marine Services, an Abu Dhabi-based company with Singaporean partnership, gaining experience in ship ownership and operation. He returned to Turkey in 2020, and in 2021 served as Shipyard Manager at Ada Shipyard.

In May 2023, he was appointed Chairman of the Board at elkon. In early 2024, he became Managing Director of elkon and, since June 28, 2024, he has also been serving as a Board Member. Additionally, since January 2022, he has been the Managing Director of SCHOTTEL GmbH’s Turkey office. SCHOTTEL GmbH and elkon are group companies of SCHOTTEL Industries GmbH.

He holds certifications as a trainer in the “StrengthsFinder” (Gallup, 2015) and “Personal Leadership” (Penny Ferguson, 2016) programs and has trained many groups. He enjoys meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.

He is married and a father of two children.
