Osman Kahraman was born in 1983 in Kırıkkale. He completed his primary education at Dr. Galip Kahraman Primary School in Antalya and his secondary education at Yavuz Selim High School, also in Antalya. In 2001, he began his studies at the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime at Yıldız Technical University.

After graduating, he took on various roles in the maritime sector, including Designer, Production Engineer, and Quality Control Engineer. From 2015 to 2019, he served as a Surveyor at the American Bureau of Shipping, followed by his tenure as Turkey General Manager at Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping from 2019 to 2020, and as Shipyard Manager at Ada Shipyard from 2020 to 2024.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Türk Loydu. In May 2024, during the general assembly, he was elected as a board member of Elkon's Board of Directors. Osman Kahraman is married and has two children.
